Instant Technology President Named 2009 Influential Woman in Business Honoree
Highland Park, Illinois Resident Rona Borre Recognized for Business and Civic Achievements
CHICAGO, IL, November 17, 2009 – Rona Borre, President and CEO of Instant Technology, has been named a 2009 Influential Woman in Business Honoree by The Business Ledger and the National Association of Women Business Owners – Chicago Area Chapter (NAWBO). The winners were recognized at an evening reception on November 12, 2009 at the DoubleTree Oakbrook in Oak Brook, Illinois.
This award commends suburban business women who share a commitment to professional excellence and to their communities. Honorees are chosen based on their business and professional achievements and the challenges they have met in building their careers. Consideration is also given to how honorees “give back” to their communities and/or employees.
Borre’s award-winning technology staffing firm continues to succeed by putting a personal touch on building relationships. Her team at Instant Technology is dedicated to understanding the needs and culture of their clients and contributing to their clients’ success by identifying the best technology talent in the marketplace through innovative recruiting initiatives.
Borre encourages philanthropic work at the office, including the agency’s annual participation in the Letters to Santa program, which provides gifts to underprivileged children during the holidays. Additionally, Instant Technology recently hosted an event to benefit the Cancer Health Alliance of Metropolitan Chicago where Borre’s contributions doubled the amount raised.
