Technical Recruiter
Identify candidates’ key skills/strengths, personality and preferential situations to make a match into an organization’s needs.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Full Life-Cycle Recruitment includes but is not limited to the following tasks:
- Identify candidates through our internal applicant tracking database, referrals from other technology professionals, networking, internet related boards and web 2.0 initiatives (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter), career fairs, college campuses.
- Build a database of technology professionals.
- Phone screen technology candidates and also conduct technical assessments via in-person interviews.
- Conduct in-depth face to face interviews with potential technology professionals in order to determine technical background and behavioral assessments.
- Format resumes for potential candidates.
- Submit candidates to outside sales reps at Instant Technology.
- Coordinate and coach candidates for client interviews.
- Debrief the candidates on client interview feedback.
- Presents offers to candidates.
- Generate candidate paperwork and communicate the payroll process.
- Maintain and develop relationships with candidates and clients.
- Generate sales leads for outside sales reps.
- Perform weekly reporting based on in-house interviews, submittals, send-outs (interviews at the end client), deals, and sales leads.
- Maintain and input data into our applicant tracking system.
- Participate in weekly and daily meetings.
- Assist in training of new recruiters.
- Responsible for conducting reference checks on candidates.
Job Requirements:
A successful candidate for this role will have the following minimum requirements:
- 4 year degree (Bachelor’s degree in a business or related field).
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills are required.
- Must be able to work efficiently and effectively in a very fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task.
- A positive attitude and demeanor has been a key component to this role.
- Must be a team player as we work as a team on all business.
- Must be able to effectively work the internet and its tools. PC skills in Microsoft Outlook Suite.
Preferred Skills:
- 2+ years of Agency Staffing experience.
- A proven track record of high volume placements of professional contingent labor.
- An ideal candidate will have an existing network of IT professionals in the Chicago area.
- Possess the ability and know how to leverage existing relationships to identify and obtain referrals of IT consultants.

Business Development Manager
Identify and develop new and existing accounts in the IT staffing arena. The main function is to find the business and then match a candidate’s key skills/strengths, personality and preferential situations to your client’s requisitions. To run the entire life cycle of the deal.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Full Life-Cycle of Account Management/Sales.
- Identify client base by using the internal database, technology news articles, internet, researching companies (during non-calling hours or after hours), networking with our IT consultants (who are in our office every week), referrals, networking events, and then market our company’s services to these clients.
- Set an agenda of who you are prospecting every day and be prepared for those meetings.
- Recognize that this position is all about meeting the numbers.
- Cold call potential clients daily through various means: phone, email, LinkedIn, etc.
- Make at least five new appointments at potential clients weekly.
- Entertain clients: happy hours, sporting events, lunches, dinners, etc.
- Present Instant Technology’s services to our potential client base every week.
- Send out emails about our company in addition to any contracts that need to be signed before doing business with a client.
- Define an organizational chart of each client and their usage of firms and contractors – via phone and then in person.
- Qualify/Gather information about client base – define whether or not we will work with this client.
- Generate new job orders weekly through cold calls and client visits by getting the right information (technical and environmental specs for the open roles).
- Format job orders and put into applicant tracking system.
- Submit candidate profiles to client after speaking to any submitted candidates in detail.
- Coordinate and coach candidate for client interviews.
- Whenever possible, attend the interview or deliver the candidate to interview.
- When you get an offer for someone, work with the recruiter to CLOSE the deal – this is a critical piece of the process.
- Generate any contracts or paperwork that needs to be attended to in regard to the client billing, etc.
- Start the candidate on the first day of employment.
- Maintain relationships with clients through weekly/monthly follow up.
- Generate recruiting leads – ask your managers if they know any technical people who are looking for work.
- Construct and maintain a hotlist of open jobs on a daily basis.
- Input and maintain accurate information into our database – all notes and documentation pertaining to the clients are logged into the applicant tracking system.
- Participate in weekly and daily meetings with entire team and within assigned triangle.
- Assist in training of new Account Managers – shadowing.
- Participate as a team player and help other Account Managers with accounts and strategies – think about the company and its best interests
Job Requirements:
Minimum requirements include:
- 4 year degree with at least 3 years of outside sales experience.
- Excellent cold calling skills. Proven networking abilities.
- Good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills are required.
- Must be able to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task. Must have a positive attitude and remain calm under pressure. Must be a team player and willing to help out others when necessary.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems a plus.
